FASTING

Why Fasting Does Not Work.

Because you are hopefully never going to be on an all liquid meal plan for any length of time (unless you God Forbid had some sort of terrible problem), you need to learn how to eat appropriate and healthy(solid and liquid) foods in the right portion sizes in order to maintain any weight loss you have. So stop looking for the "quick fix" and dedicate yourself to living a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. If it was as easy as starving yourself for a few days and drinking some dumb concoction of maple syrup and lemon then don't you think EVERYONE would look good?!?!

Getting Things Started....

Who said that February is not just as good a time as any to start working on your goals?!?! The New Year is not the only time you can make resolutions....you can begin working toward your goals anytime! You do not need to wait until Monday morning, or the next time you get to the gym, or until January 1, 2011...you can start right now. Right at this moment you can sit up straighter, walk to a waste basket in another room, order a salad for lunch, or pencil in an appointment with the gym. Getting started is the hardest part. You will be surprised at how much better and less stressed you will feel once you take the initiative to get things going in the direction you want. So if you are waiting for the right time to get back in shape, eat cleaner, be better at your job, be a better parent, whatever...today IS the day, right now IS the right time.
Commit to yourself...YOU ARE WORTH IT!
